The catalyst is equipped with a self-regulating PTC heating. The maximum temperature is 60°C. With a cold catalyst, power consumption is 1.5A. With increasing temperature, the power consumption will decrease automatically. The heating is there to avoid condensation. Wet gas must not be led through a cold catalyst.
